Well, today I’d love to share with you a truly fascinating mega-complex including two massive parks which are located right in my neighborhood. They are Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 and 3.

To be honest, I can’t tell you how big they are as they are enormous. I needed to spend an entire day just to explore every nook and cranny of these two places. Interestingly, they sit right opposite each other, so it’s incredibly convenient for visitors to hit both spots in a single trip.

What really sets them apart is their contrasting architectural themes. Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 is heavily inspired by Eastern styles like Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, etc. On the other side, Ocean Park 3 follows the Western vibe like the river in Venice of Italy running along the park or a magnificent clock tower at the entrance of it, which resembles Big Ben in England. There’s a bridge connecting these two parks called East-West bridge, which, as the name suggests, perfectly symbolizes the connection between these two distinct worlds.

People can clearly see diverse global cultures in the whole complex once they arrive there. Not only that, visitors can directly experience a variety of cultures. Like once, I tried dishes in a restaurant in the “Little Hong Kong” zone and the flavors there are exactly the ones I enjoyed in Hong Kong. Moreover, people can fully immerse themselves in the local atmosphere by renting traditional costumes for photos. On weekends, the place truly comes alive with vibrant cultural shows, and the interesting part is they’re free. So, for me, it’s like an absolute bargain when I can somehow enjoy the essence of foreign countries right in my backyard!

1. What are the advantages of having a home with a garden?

Speaking Answer

Well, from my perspective, people residing in a house with a garden would get  lots of benefits, especially their well-being in general. For example, if people feel down in the dumps or overwhelmed by daily stress, they just simply step into their garden to admire vibrant flowers or lush greenery and it definitely works wonders for their mood. Besides, it’s common knowledge that plants play an important role as natural air purifiers; they absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. So people living in a home with a garden can have significantly cleaner and fresher air. That being said, this type of housing isn’t feasible for those living in cramped urban areas with limited land. However, city dwellers can still create green spaces in their own backyards by planting flowers in plastic bottles or putting trees in their balconies.

As previously mentioned, citizens with limited space can easily opt for plastic bottles or styrofoam boxes to cultivate plants. Besides, they can turn blank walls into vertical gardens, which is one of the most popular ways for residents who are tight on space but still yearn to have a green thumb right in the comfort of their own homes.

Well, I’d say it largely depends on an individual’s professional background and personal interests. For example,  farmers would undoubtedly pay close attention to gardening media as it is essential for them to stay abreast of modern farming methodologies, effective pest control, and innovative techniques to maximize crop yields. Similarly, avid gardeners or plant enthusiasts would naturally consume this content because it directly feeds into their passion. 

However, for the average layperson, such media holds little appeal. Since gardening isn’t their primary pursuit, they tend to gravitate toward entertainment or news that is more aligned with their daily lives and personal priorities.

Well, I would say yes, because gardening requires a lot of time and patience, which older people have in abundance. While the young ones, they need to juggle a variety of responsibilities, from financial pressures to family commitments.

Having said that, it doesn’t mean gardening is mainly for the elderly. As I have observed, many young people are enrolling in agricultural colleges to pursue this sector as their professional careers. So, they could consider gardening as their primary pursuit, rather than just a simple hobby

Well, I definitely think that gardening makes people healthier. Firstly, it serves as a form of physical exercise because people have to do a lot of things to plant a tree, from preparing the soil to planting and watering. Secondly, trees help purify the air so people having gardens could enjoy fresh air, which reduces the risk of respiratory diseases. Finally, being close to nature is also a proven way for people to reduce stress and boost their emotional well-being.

Yes, definitely. In today’s hustle and bustle of city life, people, especially the younger generation, are under immense pressure. So they actively seek out green spaces to find peace of mind.

Furthermore, with the rapid development of technology, children nowadays are more and more addicted to technological devices, which is highly detrimental to both their physical and mental health. Therefore, in the future, families would strongly encourage their children to engage in more outdoor activities, and gardening would be one of the top choices.
