I’d like to describe a natural place that holds a special place in my heart: My Khe Beach in Da Nang. It’s one of Vietnam’s most famous coastal spots, known for its long, white-sand shoreline and clear, turquoise water. The beach is beautifully lined with coconut palms and offers a great view of the Son Tra Peninsula.
I’ve been lucky enough to visit a few times, but the most memorable trip was last summer with my family. We spent four days in Da Nang and found ourselves at the beach almost every day.
My favorite activity was waking up before dawn to watch the sunrise, when the sky would turn from purple to pink. Later in the day, we would swim in the warm water or just relax under a beach umbrella. In the evenings, we loved taking a stroll along the shore and then enjoying some fresh seafood at a nearby restaurant.
This beach is special to me for two reasons. Firstly, it perfectly combines natural beauty with convenience, as it’s so clean and easily accessible within the city. But more importantly, it represents a precious memory of a family trip. My Khe Beach isn’t just a beautiful place; it’s a place that brings back feelings of happiness, family, and tranquility.

Furthermore, the activities are centered around water, offering a type of playful joy and refreshment. So, while all natural areas are special, beaches uniquely combine sensory peace with a feeling of boundless possibility. - You said the beach is special because it’s connected to your family memories. How important do you think traveling is in terms of creating and strengthening family or friendship bonds?
– Traveling is absolutely essential for strengthening bonds. It removes everyone from the distractions of daily life, allowing for genuine, focused time together. By navigating new places and sharing new experiences, you create a rich bank of memories that become a core part of your relationship. These shared adventures build a much deeper connection and understanding than everyday routines ever could.
